I’m migrating from Kali Linux because I need a stable distro for app development. I know, I know, I shouldn’t have been daily driving Kali anyway… this is me fixing that mistake. Anyway, I’m looking forward to using Ubuntu, but I’m still going to need some of the tools that are only available through Kali. I’m concerned that I might have some issues when using Kali repositories, especially with the Python libraries. Does anyone here have any experience with something like this? Is there anything that I should keep in mind when installing 3rd party tools on Ubuntu? Thanks!
Hi @special-k-anon , you cannot simply add Kali Linux repository and install the packages in UbuntuDDE Remix. You might need to manually compile the packages from Kali Linux to make them work in UbuntuDDE Remix.
Hope that was helpful.
